[Valentine's Day special] Lotte Signiel Hotel and the heart cake

Lotte World Tower always has been a special place for our couple. The tower had finished its construction on the very first year when we started dating, so we visited there very often because literally "everything" was there. The tower has movie theater, good restaurants, supermarket, and luxury shops. This is even connected to Lotte department store and amusement park via underground pathway, which is also directly connected to Seoul Metro and Bus transportation hub.

 

Phew, enough of intruducing LOL. Well, among all those good memories about the tower, the best was the propose event for my wife!!

 

I reserved the Signiel Hotel on our 3rd wedding anniversary day. One night at the hotel costed near $500! This was even including huge discount. Probably the same room would had been costed so much more if I did not have the coupon.

 

However, the hotel was the paragon of luxurious hotel. When you get to the gate, they vallet your vehicle and escort you to the designated elevator. 

 

Inside of the elevator only has 5 different floor buttons. One is the first floor button and the other four are main floor for the lobby, restaurant & bar, Sauna, and the guest rooms etc.

 

All of the walls are exquisite marvel stones, with gold-yellow tone light systems. Employees there are very nice. There are nothing to complain about :)

 

 

As soon as the elevetor opens, you are able to see the main restaurant of the Signiel Hotel. The restaurant has wide glass window through which you can see the vast landscape of Seoul Korea.

 

Well... but if you are unlucky like me you could pick a rainy or dusty day. Me and my wife thought they had 'Grey Curtain' to block sun light, but it was the dust fog... sadly our sight could not reach out far distance, but it was good enough to see the island amusement park, the Lotte World.

 

After checking out the sight of the Seoul, there were bread fridger ready right next to the restaurant. Our "Red Heart" cake was waiting there nice and beautifully. This care is normally cost 77,000 KRW, but they offered Valentine's day discount price of 55,000 KRW.

 

Soon as you inform your reservated name to the front, they bring out your reserved cake from fridge.

This cake also includes two hours of free parking on the Lotte World Tower, so you may have enough time to go shopping for an hour.

 

The cake was extremely... RED... like too ruddy that it makes me feel like cutting a real heart. Even the red cherry cream derived from the cake seem like dropped blood lol

 

But the taste was truly beautiful. The outside red cream was obviously cherry flavor, but not the cheap canned-cherry-like flavour. It was really like a fresh cherry cream made, not like artificially cream taste.

 

Inside there were three different berry flake stuffing. Blueberry, raspeberry, and strawberry snow flakes were fully filled inside like sherbert. Icy temperature of the stuffing kept the cake taste fresh and vivid.

 

Lastly, the coconut flake topping and the cookie base on the bottom completes the cake.

 

Overall, the cake is 5 stars out of 5 stars. The maximum. Except the expensive price and the fact you have to pick up from the Lotte World Tower a bit negative, but even visiting the place itself could be a wonderful experience if you think about it on the bright side.

 

If you are preparing a special event during your stay at Korea. Why not try giving this lovely cake to the person you care.

 

Even without visiting the observatory on the top floor, you are able to check out the beautiful landscape of Korea with this perfect taste of cake.

 

I am not sure if you are able to dine in with this cake. You have to call the place and ask.
But just give it a shot :)
